### Maybank Singapore: a Returned Payment Fails [#maybank-singapore-a-returned-payment-fails]

A Maybank Singapore payment that your verifier or authoriser returns in Maybank2E is now `FAILED`, with a `payments.failed` webhook. Before, it stayed `SUBMITTED`.

Maybank cannot accept a returned payment again. Treat it as failed in your system; to pay again, create a new batch payment.
